DAMIEN Rigby has been appointed Head of Fleet for the Mercedes-Benz division of Vertu Motors.
Prior to joining the Vertu Motors, Damien was Strategic Business Manager at Arval. And in a six year career at Mercedes-Benz prior to that, held a number of senior executive positions.
As Head of Fleet, Damien will be focused on strengthening Vertu’s fleet team; developing current and new customer relationships; and establishing Vertu as the preferred choice for Mercedes-Benz in the fleet market.
Vertu Motors recently acquired Hughes Group. This has Mercedes-Benz outlets in Beaconsfield and Aylesbury. Hughes Group has a dedicated fleet and business team, which has been supplying vehicles to the fleet and business market for 23 years. In his new role, Damien will work closely with Clare Maher, Group Corporate Sales Manager at Hughes Group.

Damien will be based at Mercedes-Benz in Slough.
