ARI Fleet UK has appointed Matthew Hayesman to the newly-created role of Vehicle Acquisition Manager for the Complete division.

The move comes as ARI looks to continue its expansion and specialism in the leasing market under its recently-created Complete division – a part of the company specialising in delivering more traditional funding and fleet management solutions.

With the leasing portfolio doubling every year within ARI, the appointment of Matthew to the new role will allow ARI’s Complete division to elevate its leasing capabilities, while also increasing customer service.

In his new role, Matthew will be tasked with developing the team’s product knowledge, especially important with the tremendous changes brought about by the increased adoption of electric vehicles. He will also work to build relationships with key partners in the sector and ensure the delivery of key SLAs (service level agreements) for our growing customer base.

Matthew has worked in the fleet industry for over 10 years, with a further five in vehicle insurance.  His most recent job has been running the order management team in ALD, and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Matt Cranny, Director – Complete Division, Leasing and Supplier Manager, said:  “ARI’s leasing portfolio continues to grow at a phenomenal rate. This growth is a testament to our people and our investment in our leasing capabilities.

“The appointment of Matthew brings more strength in depth, knowledge and experience to our team so we can continue to innovate and deliver the best possible service to our customers.”

Following a recent restructure of its UK operations, ARI Fleet UK now looks after two distinct fleet types delivering two different fleet management solutions, called Complex and Complete.

The Complete division will deliver fleet management for businesses running vehicles that do not have such legislative and regulatory requirements but still need leasing, fleet management, data insights and SMR provision.

These companies want to be paying for expertise, but many of the services, such as SMR, accident management, remarketing and risk management, can be packaged together to create fleet efficiencies and cost savings.

The Complex division has been created for those with specific and bespoke management needed for legislative and regulatory requirements, such as for O-licences, Earned Recognition and other compliance processes, and specialist procurement, service, maintenance and repair. Often this includes heavy and specialist vehicle fleets operating in essential services.
