LEASING Options has launched its latest initiative to enhance its contactless offering with its own WhatsApp channel where customers can speak with one of itsexperts to go through the entire process of leasing a vehicle.

According to research, WhatsApp has over two billion users every month and is the most popular social network around the world due to its convenience and commitment to security with end-to-end encrypted messages.

Mike Thompson, Director at Leasing said: “The popularity of WhatsApp has continued to grow from strength to strength so for us it was a natural progression to include as an option for our customers to be able to contact us on.

“Since the pandemic – we have reviewed our entire process that customers go through when leasing a vehicle with us and introduced a number of changes to make it as contactless as possible to help provide additional reassurance to our customers.

“Customers are now able to pay for processing fees via Apple Pay, and supply proof of ID documents safely via their phone so to now be able to liaise directly with the team on WhatsApp makes the whole process even more convenient and contactless.”

Leasing Options has invested significantly in research and development into its in-house IT solutions, resulting in market leading, bespoke CRM and communication systems. The new WhatsApp offering, initially available during Leasing Option’s working hours, has also been fully integrated into the existing bespoke website TextBot function so customers can ask any questions relating to leasing, and receive a response via WhatsApp straight to their phone.
