MASERATI is targeting broker sales with the appointment of Howard Dalziel to the role of national corporate sales manager in a restructure of its corporate sales team.

The famous Italian marque is planning to have corporate sales at 50% of its total sales thanks to the contract hire and leasing industry and the broker channels.

Sales have grown year-on-year to over 17% by September with two corporate-focused models, the Levante SUV and the Ghibli saloon.

Howard is appointed from his previous role as corporate sales manager (South).

His replacement is Laura Heathcote-Smith, who joins the Maserati team as corporate sales manager (South) with a wealth of automotive expertise including corporate, fleet management, sales and vehicle finance as well as a background in aeronautical engineering.

Laura joins Louise Kelly, corporate sales manager (North) and customer contact executive, Alexandra Cooper.

Peter Denton, region manager for Maserati North Europe commented:

“With our corporate sales team at full strength and a highly appealing model range, thanks to the newly announced updates for the MY18 Ghibli and the recent introduction of the Levante SUV, we aim to achieve 50% of all Maserati sales in the corporate sector.”

Maserati has just announced the availability of petrol Levante S with 430bhp and a V6 3.0-litre twin turbo petrol engine. The new model costs £70,755 on the road.
