FORMER Barclaycard Head of Global Change Finance Tracy Balachandran has joined QV Systems to help drive the business’s aggressive growth strategy.
She takes up the position of Finance Director if the SaaS provider for the financing and leasing industries and will lead automation and streamlining initiatives, take charge of forecasting and financing.
Balachandran has a stellar track record in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, digital, retail, property investment, professional and financial services, and online training.
A graduate of Big Four accountancy firm KPMG, she has held senior positions in a range of businesses of every size, including blue chip and private enterprises, VC and Angel-backed start-ups, and FTSE-listed firms.
Between 2007 and 2016 she held several senior roles at Barclays, including heading up the finance teams supporting all strategic investments in Barclaycard. During her time, she supported a digital start-up through two rounds of fundraising. Following her roles at Barclays, she worked with a high-growth SME for five years, growing the business by 164% during that period. She also worked on a number of technology-first projects, including data analytics and data warehousing.
Balachandran is among several recent hires at QV Systems, including the recent appointment of Louise Ikonomides as Strategic Enterprise Consultant earlier this year. The growth in the senior team reflects the company’s recent success in transforming the financing and leasing market through its Accelerate platform: a flexible, cloud-based system that streamlines and digitises lending and leasing processes for automotive and asset finance companies.
