Renault to launch long term rental offer

RENAULT is to roll out a leasing scheme for private customers having studied changing purchasing behaviour from physical to digital and from ownership to use.

Renault Easy Lease is a 100% online long-term rental offer for retails customers and following trials in several countries, Italy is the first country to inaugurate the offer which will be rolled out across Europe.

It promises a simplified digital journey for quick and easy long-term rental from the Renault sales website. It has been built with the Renault dealer network and available exclusively to private customers.

Fabrice Cambolive, Senior Vice President, Renault Brand, Sales and Operations. From the comfort of their home, customers can configure their vehicle from the range and trim levels on offer, choose the colour, the duration of the long-term lease and the related mileage.

They then identify themselves, share the information required to apply for operational leasing and finally sign their contract online. The operational leasing is provided by RCI Bank and Services, without any interruption to the online process.

The operational lease includes include, third party liability, a guarantee and vehicle maintenance as well as breakdown assistance. The vehicle is delivered via the Renault network and dealership of the customer’s choice.

Initially, Italy will offer two vehicles – Clio and Captur – on the Renault Easy Lease platform, before extending the range to other vehicles and engines including LPG, electrified and electric vehicles.
