SELECT Car Leasing has launched a landmark partnership that will see Cameron Clarke Leasing operate under the Select brand.

It will give Cameron Clarke access to Select’s bespoke CRM, website and some of the most competitive rates in the marketplace – whilst continuing to operate out of their head office in Preston.

The partnership comes during a period of continued growth for the car leasing market, bucking the trend of a largely cautious new car market, although the current Covid-19 Pandemic has put the brakes on things temporarily.

The agreement was made between Select and Cameron Clarke at the turn of the year, and formally began in March.

Graham Conway, Head of Strategic Development at Select Car Leasing, said: “Personal car leasing is growing significantly in the UK, with lease cars continuing to have an increased presence on the roads in 2020.

“We feel this new partnership represents an exciting opportunity to further accelerate the growth of leasing and give many more people the opportunity to drive a brand new car at an affordable monthly price.”

“Over the past few months we have been in continued discussion with Cameron Clarke and both myself and the directors, Mark Tongue and James O’ Malley, strongly believe they represent a great fit to join us at Select.

“They have a long, proud history of providing first-class service to their customers and are one of the most highly regarded businesses in the industry.

“The partnership matches our ambitious expansion plan across the UK, and we see it as another important step in the growth of Select Car Leasing as well as providing major visibility and representation for the Select brand in the North West of England.”

Cameron Clarke Director Steven Clarke said: “Partnering with Select marks a very exciting point for us at Cameron Clarke. This is a major opportunity for us to combine our experience and industry know-how with Select.

“We are two companies who share an ambitious vision for the future, and we felt joining together with Select made perfect sense for both parties.

“We have a fantastic team of people already in place at our office in Preston to support new customers and work alongside the staff at Select to help deliver an incredible, market-leading car leasing offering.”

Established in 2004, Select Car Leasing has a total fleet of over 40,000 vehicles and more than 180 staff members based at its head office in Reading.

Founded in 1994, Cameron Clarke Leasing has been providing car leases to private individuals and businesses for 25 years and is one of the most established and reputable names within the car leasing industry.

The partnership between Select and Cameron Clarke follows the successful launch of an authorised representative agreement earlier in the year between Select Car Leasing and the business leasing and fleet specialists, Grosvenor Leasing.

Graham Conway said: “Our business aim is to bring car leasing to as many people in the UK as possible. In order to do this, we’re interested in speaking to any established leasing brokers who feel they may benefit from the support that becoming an official representative of the Select brand brings.

“This is a great opportunity for leasing brokers of all sizes to become a part of the UK’s fastest growing leasing company and join an exciting partnership scheme, which we are confident will safeguard the industry and significantly accelerate the growth of car leasing in the future”

Select have urged interested organisations which wish to discuss this in further detail to contact Graham Conway on: [email protected] or the main Select line: 0118 920 5130.
