SKODA is on a roll. It has just taken the biggest chunk of the fleet market. Ever.

The company said it had seen True Fleet sales growth of 7.8% while achieving a record-breaking 3.7% share of the UK fleet market.

It meant that following release of SMMT figures, Skoda was now ninth position in the True Fleet market for the first time, up from 12th the year previously year. A growth which bucks the trend in the sector overall.

Skoda said initiatives such as a Fleet Customer Service Centre, to ensure excellence in service levels had helped along with the launch of a Fleet Service Level Agreement.

Henry Williams, head of fleet for Skoda, said:

“These results reaffirm the strength of the Skoda offering for business customers. 2017 saw fantastic sales growth for the brand as we firmly positioned ourselves in the top 10 manufacturers in the fleet sector.”
