BRISTOL-based Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions has moved into the fast lane this week with a much speedier new Bluepoppy website and the addition of Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions as a funder.

Hitachi Capital joins ALD Automotive, Lex Autolease and Santander on the Bluepoppy funder stream.

Director Andrew Starr says the significant investment in the new website brings “a huge step forward in what we had before.”

He explained: “We have gone from perhaps 120 offers on the site to an intuitive system with probably 200,000, with every make, model, technical info, and options to build up a shopping cart, and then whether it is personal or business, terms from two to four years, 8,000 to 30,000 miles p.a., and profiles from three payments down to 12.

“It’s phone and tablet friendly, streamlines the process and brings up the best funder rate appropriate to that vehicle and the profile.”

He added that with Google analytics they can see what people are looking at, enabling them to approach manufacturers for the best deals.

The result, he says, is “a huge productivity leap” for the team of seven, with five in sales and two in admin.

Meanwhile switching from computer screens to cricket sightscreens, Bluepoppy has just renewed its support for Gloucester Cricket Club and added local side Lodway CC celebrating its 150th anniversary, as well as continuing to sponsor Bristol Rovers and Bristol Sports, which adds rugby and basketball, as well as Bristol Saracens rugby club.
