VANARAMA Chief Executive Andy Alderson has received the Go:Tech Awards ‘Tech Entrepreneur Of The Year 22’ award.

The awards recognise businesses and entrepreneurs leading the way in technology and innovation across the UK. An independent panel of judges used their tech expertise to select the winners.

Alderson said “It’s an absolute honour to be recognised as Tech Entrepreneur of the Year at the Business Leader Go:Tech awards. In my case, the award should really be re-badged as, Team Of The Year, in recognition of the brilliant people at Vanarama who continue to push the boundaries and collect accolades, despite dealing with the most complex and fluid trading conditions our sector has ever faced.

“I’m inspired every day by the pure grit and determination of our people, to change the way customers buy vehicles online for the better. As we continually advance our digital storefront and our scalability for our dealer, lease Co, and manufacturer partners, through market-leading technology. I may have collected the trophy, but it’s because of the genius of my team I was able to collect the award. This one is for them, thank you.”

The award win comes at an exciting time for Vanarama  which has recently been acquired by online automotive marketplace Auto Trader. Alderson added: “It’s fair to say, that with our recent big news, we’re only just getting started! The future is very exciting and it’s great to know we have the best team in the business driving us forward.”
