RYAN Bishop from broker Silverstone Fleet Management has competed in a recent Wolf Run, raising money for the company’s nominated charity Cynthia Spencer.
The Wolf Run is ‘Wild Running’ – a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs. The organisers say it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes & thick mud.
Silverstone has a target of £5000 to raise for charity through a variety of events. The next is a 50-mile cycle ride, Cycle4Cythina with more than 5000 participants from around Northampton.
Scott Norville, Silverstone’s MD said:
“We are committed to raising money for this great charity, even though the team are struggling with the training, the main goal is to raise as much as possible.
“The cycle event should be a tough one, but we have all spent time on the bike which is also good for a little team building, especially after the ride down the local for a quick one!
