MOYOSOLA Fujamade has joined Kia UK Limited’s fleet sales team as its new National Contract Hire Relationship Manager, with immediate effect.
Replacing Phil Glover who has moved to the role of RV and Fleet Operations Manager at Kia UK Limited, Fujamade will manage the relationship with Kia’s own brand contract hire supplier and day-to-day business relationships with the UK’s contract hire companies.
In addition, the role encompasses seeking new and innovative ways to ensure Kia’s presence within the sector, which has recently been aided by the introduction of key fleet models such as the Kia e-Niro ‘2’ Long Range and all-new Sorento PHEV.
Fujimade joins the fleet sales team following her work in the Press Office since 2015, where she held a number of roles most recently as Senior Press Officer focused on events. Prior to this, she worked in Kia’s Product Planning team in 2014 after completing her degree in Mathematics for Finance and Management at the University of Portsmouth.
She said: “During my time on the front-line of Kia’s new model launches over the past six years, it has become ever-more clear that fleets are going electric, as is Kia with its ‘Plan S’ strategy now in full swing. With this industry-wide change as the backdrop, it’s a fascinating time to join the fleet sales team and I’m really excited for what the future holds and getting stuck into working with the UK’s top contract hire firms.”
Fujimade will report to Gary Curran, National Leasing and Rental Manager at Kia UK Limited, who himself changed to this role at the start of the year following three years at Kia as RV and Fleet Operations Manager.
