Lex Autolease, the UK’s largest fleet management provider, has added two new team members to its broker division.

The division, which works with more than 100 brokers across the UK, has appointed Felicity McNamara and Debbie Goodier as Account Directors.

Debbie Goodier joins from Lex Autolease’s parent company Lloyds Banking Group, where she has been a mortgage and protection advisor since 2009. She began her career with Yorkshire Building Society in 2002 before becoming a self-employed mortgage broker, prior to joining Lloyds.

Felicity McNamara has transferred to the broker division following ten years as a Customer Relationship Manager in Lex Autolease’s SME Direct sales team, where she secured and managed a large number of business accounts, ranging from complex commercial vehicle fleets to small car fleets. A former recruitment consultant, her role at Lex Autolease included advising company finance directors, fleet managers and drivers on vehicle usage, tax legislation and bespoke fleet policies.

Steve Cocks, Director of Lex Autolease’s Broker Division, said: “Brokers perform a valuable service, particularly for those small businesses that need assistance in navigating the market. It remains an important channel for Lex Autolease and Debbie and Felicity bring a wealth of experience from their previous roles in forming the kind of strong relationships that are vital in this market.”

Debbie Goodier, added: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the Lex Autolease team. As a former broker, I’m well aware of the needs these businesses have in terms of being able to access timely information and guidance when they need it.
I’m looking forward to working closely with our partners to demonstrate how Lex Autolease can add value to their clients’ businesses.”

Felicity McNamara, said: “With the economy continuing to strengthen, small businesses are looking to be in the best possible shape to take advantage of growth opportunities. This creates a big opportunity for vehicle leasing and the broker community plays a key role in helping more small firms to understand and appreciate the advantages leasing has over vehicle ownership.”
